Why do some instructional coach's thrive while others struggle? Effective coaches are committed to continuous improvement and lead high-functioning teacher teams that advance the academic progress of all students.
While instructional coaching plays a significant role in facilitating, improving, and promoting academic progress for both teachers and students, the instructional coach must recognize and assess their roles in the instructional process and be able to determine areas in need of improvement. This includes high expectations of students and teachers, and emphasis on high-leverage instruction, professional development, and collective teacher efficacy.
In this highly engaging session, participants will explore the most contemporary coaching practices and attributes that create a high-achievement culture—from clear communication to empathy to strategic thinking.
