About Brenda
I’ve been an educator for 25 years. I’ve worn various hats throughout my educational journey - high school and middle school English teacher; instructional coach; middle school assistant and elementary school principal. I’m currently an instructional coach in a high school working with the ELA and Social Studies departments. My purpose is to motivate, inspire, support and serve educators with my passion for learning, my knowledge and my experience because our students deserve our best.

As a new instructional coach, are you worried about how to provide feedback to your teachers in a way that is heard and implemented? Join this session to learn how to give feedback to every teacher on your campus and to help them provide effective feedback to their students. In this session, you will learn about the research behind effective feedback, strategies to give effective feedback that moves learning forward and how to build relationships to tactfully provide feedback to your teachers. By the end of this session you will know the research behind effective feedback, have strategies and tools to add to your coaching toolbox, learn how to build strong relationships with the teachers on your campus and how to coach your teachers on how to give effective feedback to their students.
